Dumpster Diving in a Good Neighborhood

UPDATE: I got this centerpiece from a waiter who was getting ready to throw out these live flowers!

I went dumpster diving in the Wall Street area today and found 6 dining chairs, in good condition! Also, I found some great Black History books for children. Now, why would anyone throw these things out?
