Frugal
When you tell people, "our" people that you are frugal, they automatically think that you're cheap. When you tell them that it means that you watch your money, it is misconstrued as 1. being broke or 2. a coupon collector. If you say that you're on a budget, they act like they can't understand the word. Why are you on a budget they ask?

One of the richest men in the world, Warren Buffet, still lives in the same house he bought in 1958 for $38,000. I wouldn't say that he's cheap, I would call him frugal, an amazing business investor, and one who sticks to a budget.
Something to remember when you are confused:
- Cheap people care about the cost of something.
- Frugal people care about the value of something.
More money please.
